A beautiful window deserves a beautiful finish. This bespoke sheer curtain was created for a stunning arched attic window, following its unusual shape all the way to the top.The delicate sheer fabric is enriched with beautiful embroidered lace detailing, while the generous fullness creates soft, elegant folds and gives the curtain a luxurious finish without taking away the natural light.A lovely example of how bespoke window dressing can enhance even the most challenging architectural shapes.Made to measure. Made to fit. Made to belong.#BespokeCurtains #SheerCurtains #EmbroideredCurtains #ArchedWindow #AtticWindow #BespokeWindowTreatments #CurtainMaker #MadeToMeasureCurtains #WindowDesign #InteriorDetails #CurtainMakerMiltonKeynes ...

Our last installation before the summer break We’re finishing the season with this beautiful bespoke window treatment — hand-finished double pinch pleat curtains, fully lined, paired with a bespoke pelmet. The pelmet was made using a separate box construction, with the fabric cover carefully made by hand and attached with Velcro. This allows the fabric to be removed for cleaning or replaced in the future, without changing the main structure.A practical solution hidden behind a beautifully tailored finish — exactly the kind of detail that makes bespoke work so special. And with this installation complete, we’re heading off for a four-week summer holiday. ☀️We’ll be back at the end of August, ready for new projects, new fabrics and more beautiful bespoke window treatments.See you at the end of August! ...

The beauty of hand sewing is in what you don’t see. 🪡Yes, hand sewing takes more time — but the result is worth it.With skilled hand stitching, there are no visible stitch lines on the right side of the fabric, and the thread itself remains almost invisible, even on the wrong side. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a real difference to the finish of bespoke curtains, blinds and pelmets.True craftsmanship is often hidden in the details.#HandSewn #BespokeCurtains #CurtainMaker #SoftFurnishings #WorkroomCraftsmanship #BespokeInteriors #MadeByHand ...

A little advice from our workroom When working with a client’s own fabric, especially when we don’t know whether it has been professionally treated or protected, we prefer to think long-term.Rather than permanently upholstering the pelmet structure, we build the box separately and hand-sew the fabric pelmet as a removable piece. This pelmet was made by hand using double interlining, buckram and lining, creating a beautifully structured finish while keeping the fabric completely separate from the wooden construction. Why do we prefer this method?A well-made pelmet box can last 10, 20 years or even longer. The fabric may not. Over time, it can collect dust, fade or simply need refreshing — particularly when its original treatment and durability are unknown.By keeping the pelmet removable, it can be taken down for professional cleaning, maintenance or even replaced in the future, while the original structure remains in place.Beautiful craftsmanship should also be practical and made with the future in mind.#BespokePelmet #HandSewn #CurtainMaker #SoftFurnishings #BespokeInteriors #WindowTreatments #InteriorDesign #MiltonKeynes #WorkroomCraftsmanship ...
